Marion Shaw, Emeritus Professor, Loughborough University
Professor Shaw co-founded the first UK English Studies MA with a specific focus on gender, the MA in Women, Gender and Literature at the University of Hull. Her authoritative biography of Winifred Holtby, entitled
The Clear Stream, was published in 1999. Her extensive contributions to feminist scholarship also include
